The pay-per-view undercard for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo super middleweight championship will feature a powerful lineup, consisting of emerging talents, top competitors, and former champions, ranging from 147 to 160 pounds.

Headlining the undercard, unbeaten sensation Jesus Ramos Jr. is slated to clash with power-punching Erickson Lubin in a 12-round super welterweight bout. The evening also features ex-world champions Yordenis Ugas and Mario Barrios vying for the Interim WBC Welterweight Title. The first bout of the evening kicks off at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, where emerging middleweights Elijah Garcia and Armando Reséndiz go head-to-head in a 10-round battle.

Tickets for this live spectacle are available via AXS.com.

Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions, mentioned, “This undercard has everything a boxing aficionado could ask for and is the perfect lead-in to the historic main event. All the fighters have a golden opportunity to steal the limelight and climb the ranks in their respective divisions.”

Jesus Ramos (20-0, 16 KOs) wowed the audience with a TKO win over Joey Spencer in March, as part of the David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant undercard. The 22-year-old southpaw, originally from Casa Grande, Arizona, has also impressed with a string of unanimous decisions and KO victories in recent fights.

Ramos said, “This is a massive card and I can’t wait to deliver an entertaining fight. Lubin is a formidable adversary and that will surely make for a thrilling night for the fans.”

Erickson Lubin (25-2, 18 KOs), aged 27, returned this June with a spectacular fifth-round stoppage against Luis Arias. He has a reputation for high-stakes fights and has earned key victories over a variety of opponents, from prospects to veterans.

“This is a huge stage, and I’m training hard for a decisive win,” Lubin commented. “I’ve faced top fighters in my division, and that will be the difference maker.”

Returning for the first time since a defeat in April 2022, Yordenis Ugas (27-5, 12 KOs) previously claimed a WBA belt in September 2020 and successfully defended it against Manny Pacquiao in August 2021. The Cuban native now living in Miami is eager for another win.

“We both have a lot to gain from this fight,” Ugas shared. “I have the utmost respect for Barrios, but I’m confident in my skills and in delivering an unforgettable performance.”

Mario Barrios (27-2, 18 KOs) recently scored a knockout against Jovanie Santiago. The San Antonio native is known for his aggressive style and is training under coach Bob Santos in Las Vegas.

“This is going to be an epic battle,” Barrios noted. “The fans are in for a treat from the opening bell to the final round.”

Rising star Elijah Garcia (15-0, 12 KOs) quickly rose through the ranks and will be competing in his second high-profile PPV bout. His opponent, Armando Reséndiz (14-1, 10 KOs), earned a standout win over Jarrett Hurd in his last match.

“I’m more prepared than ever for this fight,” said Garcia. “Reséndiz is as hungry as I am, making this an inevitable showdown the fans will love.”

“I’m thrilled to fight on such an iconic card,” Reséndiz added. “I’ve had an amazing camp, and I’m ready to deliver a performance that would make my boxing idols proud.”
