The card highlights Mexican Independence Day Weekend and features plenty of action-packed fights. The event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Rodriguez returns after falling to Ian Garry by first-round TKO at UFC Charlotte earlier this year. He’s looking to snap a two-fight losing skid after losing to Neil Magny last November.
Before losses to Garry and Magny, Rodriguez was on a roll with four straight victories. He defeated the likes of Li Jingliang, Kevin Lee, and Mike Perry during that stint.

Ponzinibbio is also looking to get back on track after a knockout loss to Kevin Holland at UFC 287 earlier this year. He defeated Alex Morono and his last victory at UFC 282 last December.
Ponzinibbio has been a mainstay of the UFC’s welterweight division; defeating the likes of Sean Strickland, Gunnar Nelson, and Mike Perry. He’s looking to get back into the welterweight rankings with an impressive performance.
Ponzinibbio and Rodriguez are looking to keep pace in the stacked welterweight division. UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards is expected to defend his title next against Colby Covington by the end of the year.
The event is headlined by a flyweight title rematch between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko.
