UFC middleweight Andre Petroski and his team took down a man at a rest stop for allegedly indecently exposing himself.
Petroski defeated Gerald Meerschaert by split decision on the UFC 292 prelims last Saturday in Boston. He is now 5-0 inside the Octagon after an appearance on The Ultimate Fighter 29 in 2021.
Petroski, one of the top grapplers in the UFC’s middleweight division, had to use some of his combat skills outside of the Octagon after his win.
According to a pair of recent social media posts, Petroski and his team stopped a man from publicly masturbating at a rest stop on their way back to Philadelphia. Petroski held the man down as his team contacted local police to the scene.

It’s uncertain if the man will face jail time for the infraction.
Petroski debuted in the UFC in Aug. 2021, earning a third-round finish over Micheal Gillmore. He most recently defeated Nick Maximov and Wellington Turman before the win over Meerschaert.
Petroski isn’t the only UFC fighter who has played a hero role outside of the cage. UFC welterweight Kevin Holland has stopped multiple crimes, including a shooting at a Texas restaurant last year.
As Petroski looks ahead to his UFC return, he’s hopeful that justice will be served, and that the man accused of public indecency pays the price for his actions.
