Tyson Fury remains betting favorite to beat Oleksandr Usyk ahead of title unification fight in February next year

Undisputed WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury remains a betting favorite to land a victory over fellow world champion, Oleksandr Usyk as the pair gear up for a February championship unification clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next year.

Fury, the undisputed WBC heavyweight titleholder, most recently made his professional boxing return at an event in October earlier this year in the Middle East, taking home a controversial split decision win over former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou in a 10 round non-title fight.

As for Usyk, the Ukraine favorite most recently headlined a boxing card in Poland back in August, successfully defending his WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF heavyweight crowns with an eventual ninth round KO win over British title challenger, Daniel Dubios. The victory moved Usyk to 21-0 as a professional.

Initially scheduled to fight Usyk in the Middle East in a quickfire return to the squared circle in December of this year two days before Christmas, Morecambe native, Tyson Fury was ruled from the bout by his promoter, Frank Warren, after he suffered multiple lacerations and swelling of his face in his contentious win over boxing debutante, Ngannou earlier this year.

But now officially set to fight Ukrainian puncher, Usyk in February of next year in Saudi Arabia, Fury, who opened as a betting favorite to emerge victorious in their title unification bout in Riyadh, still remains a betting favorite with lines of -180 available on the Brit to beat Usyk, who sits as a current +140 betting underdog.

With Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk set to fight at the turn of the year, a host of betting sites and markets are offering odds and bets on the undisputed heavyweight title unification bout, including https://www.slotozilla.com/pl/bonusy-bez-depozytu – with bettors and punters able to place outright winner bets and even prop wagers on certain round wins and methods of success.

Prior to his win over Cameroon native, Wilder earlier this year, WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury turned in a knockout win over Derek Chisora for the third time as part of their three fight trilogy series back in December of last year, following a knockout win over Dillian Whyte in a WBC title defense win.

For Usyk, the former kickboxing star managed to scoop undisputed heavyweight titles in a first challenge against Watford native, Anthony Joshua back in September 2021, defeating the British fighter in a one-sided unanimous decision victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

And in August of last year, Usyk recorded his first successful defense of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF heavyweight championships with a split decision win over Joshua as the pair shared the ring for the second consecutive time, prior to Usyk’s knockout win over Dubios.

Himself winning WBC heavyweight spoils against heavy hitting knockout artist, Deontay Wilder in 2021, Tyson Fury stopped the Tuscaloosa native with a series of strikes for a knockout win, before landing a second straight knockout win over the Alabama puncher in the pair’s trilogy fight the following year.
