The UFC returns to the land down under.

That’s right, the MMA world leader is back to Sydney, Australia after nearly six years. In the main event of UFC 293, UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya begins his second title reign with a title defense against outspoken contender Sean Strickland.

Middleweight Gold On The Line

“The Last Stylebender” avenged his first loss at middleweight when he knocked out long-time rival Alex Pereira in spectacular fashion at UFC 287 back in April.

Strickland, on the other hand, is coming off two straight wins over Abus Magomedov and Nassourdine Imavov. The huge betting underdog will look to shock the world with a win over Adesanya.

Also On The Card

In the co-main event, heavy-handed heavyweights will collide. Sydney’s own Tai Tuivasa goes to war against Alexander ‘Drago’ Volkov in a heavyweight matchup.

Volkov aims to make it three wins in a row while ‘Bam Bam’ tries to rebound from back-to-back losses to Ciryl Gane and Sergei Pavlovich.

A flyweight fight between Manel Kape and Felipe Dos Santos is another feature on the main card. Kape will try to keep his momentum going with a win over undefeated debutant Dos Santos.
